This portable Membrane Filtration Kit is a very easy and practical way to quantify E.coli & other coliform bacteria in water samples - e.g. in the fields or for mobile laboratories. LETZTEST has developed a unique kit that is perfectly adapted to the requirements in limited infrastructure conditions: (i) robust, (ii) electricity-free, (iii) high in quality, (iv) easy to transport, (v) easy to use, (vi) independent of inappropriate consumables, (vii) not prone to human errors.
Unique feature: an illustrated, rewritable practical manual that guides the sampler and tester through the entire sampling and testing procedure, including key quality control steps. Objective: to ensure correct results in a setting without a laboratory quality management system.
Advantages:
Art. no.: 115433 (Language: English)
Art. no.: 118193 (Language: French)
Art. no.: 118197 (Language: Spanish)
The portable LETZTEST Membrane Filtration Kit contains three very useful consumables that facilitate testing under limited conditions. Two of them can be replaced with reusable materials once a local quality management system is in place! Each test consumes one of each consumable.
Bags to collect potentially chlorinated water samples for bacteriological examination, in compliance with EPA and APHA requirements. Adapted to the needs where infrastructure and quality management systems are lacking.
Shelf-life: No expiry date, no cooling required!
Art. no.: 114928
Cellulose Nitrate Membranes for bacteriological water analysis by Membrane Filtration Method ISO 9308-1.
Shelf-life: 4 years, no cooling required!
Art. no.: 114930
A very simple, quick and safe way to quantify E.coli and other coliform bacteria in water samples. Suggested for the LETZTEST Portable Membrane Filtration Kit.
Art. no.: 115177
Since in many tropical regions other coliforms occur naturally in soil the World Health Organization suggests testing for E.coli only, which is a clearer indicator of for fecal contamination, reduces complexity and safes time. Suggested for the LETZTEST Portable Membrane Filtration Kit.
Art. no.: 116379
Determination of the fecal indicator Enterococcus (Faecal Streptococci) in water samples intended for human consumption. Suggested for the LETZTEST Portable Membrane Filtration Kit.
Art. no.: 115406
Note: additional plates for Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Total counts and more are available on request.
Worldwide unique! (Protected by Patent Office)
Independent of electricity, lightweight and compact.
LETZTEST has invented an electricity-free chemical incubator which will revolutionize water quality testing in regions with instable power supply. Use the sun or hot water for activation, then
incubate your LETZTEST Tubes or Compact Dry Plates for 24 hours at 37°C.
Advantages
Art. no.: 115178
For those who need more than our electricity-free incubator, e.g. for daily use in a laboratory with the possibility of incubating samples at temperatures other than 37°C, while maintaining mobility ! These two incubators are specially designed for areas with limited infrastructure and can be used both in the laboratory and in the field.

MX10 SPECIFICATIONS
Art. no.: 117955
MX45 SPECIFICATIONS
Art. no.: 118955
Use the practical LETZTEST Liquid Sampler made of pharmaceutical quality stainless steel to collect water samples for microbiological analysis from points where the sample can not be taken directly into the sample bottle or bag ( e.g. at a storage tank).
Specifications
Art. no.: 117952
Easy to use, Waterproof, robust, precise, fast, easy to calibrate, accurate and providing results for more than 40 chemical parameters aswell as turbidity in NTU.
This very unique photometer can transmit the results to your smartphone by Bluetooth® and work in conjunction with the application eXact iDip® for iOS and Android to manage your testing data in a very easy and clear manner. Results and automatically generated reports, including photos and mapping, can be shared with responsible entities via e-mail and messenger apps.
Specifications
Art. no.: 115931
Easy to use and robust. This unique multimeter measures pH, conductivity, salinity, total dissolved solids (TDS), temperature and the redox potential (different probe). Results can be transmitted to your connected device thanks to Bluetooth® technology. The portable kit works in conjunction with the application eXact iDip® for iOS and Android. Results and automatically generated reports, including photos and mapping, can be shared with responsible entities via e-mail and messenger apps.

Art. no.: 115945
Simple, Safe and Independent! A very practical and very easy to use tool for visual measurement of water turbidity which is very often convincing in practice! An essential test prior to water treatment by chlorination (Note: Chlorine is an effective disinfectant where water turbidity is below 5 NTU) and in ongoing water quality monitoring.
Specifications
Art. no.: 117402
Simple, Safe and Independent! The Visual Color Comparator Test is an easy to use tool for measuring free/residual chlorine, total chlorine and pH (acidity) of water samples which is very often convincing in practice!
Why measuring chlorine and pH? In many cases testers want to know if a water was disinfected or if the residual chlorine (=free chlorine) level is still sufficient to protect the drinking water from recontamination. The Ideal level of free-residual chlorine is said to be 0,2-0,5 mg/L. Desinfection with chlorine is more effective at a pH value below 7,5.

Arsenic is one of the chemicals with greatest health concern in drinking water testing. The health based guideline value for Arsenic in water is 10 µg/L. Arsenic Quick II for water quality testing was designed to give the user accurate results without sacrificing cost and time. Arsenic Quick II reports results in only 14 minutes. Additionally, there are no dangerous chemicals needed to run this water quality test kit.

For an accredited water laboratory the preparation of sampling bottles and the correct storage until testing is an art in itself. Without a quality management system, if samples cannot be tested on-site, we suggest to use our polyethylene sample bags, cool the samples on the way and test them as soon as possible.
